Foreign entity - An entity that is still unknown to the receiver.

M

MTA - Mail Transfer Agent - Device or software that acts as an intermediary in an email transaction, including the sending and receiving server.

MUA - Mail User Agent - Device or software designed to generate or read email messages.

P

Passcode - A code known only by the receiver, that can be used as an authorization validator.
